GH Business
Privacy Policy
GH Business (“we”, “us”) is committed to handling personal information carefully and transparently. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit ghbusiness.co.uk, how we use it, and the rights you have. It applies to this website only.

Who we are
GH Business is the business vehicle of Greg Harrup, operating from the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. Any questions about privacy can be sent to greg@ghbusiness.co.uk.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us we may receive your name, company, email address, telephone number and the content of your message. The contact form on this website opens your own email application to compose the message — the information you type is submitted by your email provider, not stored by this website.
Technical information. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical details such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the site that referred you. This is used to keep the website secure and running, and to understand how it is used.
We do not collect payment details, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
How we use information
We use personal information only to:
- respond to enquiries and correspond with you;
- provide information or services you have asked for;
- keep this website secure and improve how it works;
- meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
Legal basis
Where UK data protection law applies, we process information on the basis of our legitimate interests in running a business and responding to enquiries, your consent where you have given it, and compliance with legal obligations.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising, social media or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. If we introduce any such tools in future, this policy will be updated and, where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent first.
Third parties
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google in order to display them. Our hosting provider processes technical data on our behalf. Beyond that, we only share information with professional advisers or where we are legally required to do so.
International transfers
Some of the services we use may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on providers that apply recognised safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep information
Enquiry information is kept only for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a reasonable business record, after which it is deleted. Technical log data is retained by our hosting provider for a short period for security purposes.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information. Please note that email is not a fully secure method of communication, so avoid sending sensitive information to us by email unless we have agreed it is appropriate.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask us to limit or stop processing it, object to processing, or request your data in a portable format. You can also withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To make a request, email greg@ghbusiness.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date above revised when it changes.
